The Secretary of Agriculture, while speaking at the Mid-South Farm and Gin Show, announced the approval of the long awaited cotton ginning cost share for the 2016 cotton crop. The program will be similar to the 2015 cost share based on planted acres for the 2016 cotton crop. No announcement on the payment rate or the limits were made.
