The Southeastern Cotton Ginners was formed in 1970 as various ginning organizations such as the Georgia Ginners Association, the Carolinas Ginners Association, and the Alabama Ginners Association merged. Over the years and with its affiliation with our sister organization, the Southern Cotton Growers, we have grown to represent nearly every cotton ginner from Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia.
Today we work with our membership on issues such as employee safety, trucking and transportation, wage and hour, immigration issues, air quality and the list goes on. We work on both sides of many of these issues providing advocacy for our membership to the various regulatory agencies and compliance assistance to our membership through newsletters, seminars and training materials.
